From 2008 he became a member of ISCP and started to practice in Ireland. He worked as a senior physiotherapist in Newpark Care Centre looking after long term and respite patients dealing with a mixed caseload of patients suffering from musculoskeletal, neuro and respiratory problems. He also worked part-time as a private practitioner in Medicus Medical Centre in Dublin.
In 2008 he took part in ”Getting The Balance Right” research program run by University of Limerick and since then cooperated with North East Branch of MS Ireland running exercise classes for Patients Living with MS in Meath and Louth. He also received training in Salisbury, UK in Functional Electrical Stimulation – Odstock Dropped Foot Stimulator and uses the device in his every day practice working with neurological patients (stroke, Ms).
Szymon is qualified in soft tissue and joint manipulation techniques (Mulligan, McKenzie, Cyriax – orthopaedic medicine), sport massage, dry needling, kinesiotaping, exercise prescription. He continues to develop his skills through ongoing participation in CPD.
In 2019 he joined the Prosport Academy Mentorship program and after completing the course he implements this unique and pioneering concept in his practice.
He has a special interest in chronic pain, complex cases that failed traditional approach but also in sport injuries and performance rehab.
From 2018 he is a physio for Parkvilla FC Navan team and an assistant manager for their U16 team.
